Nettmann Systems International (N.S.I.) is a high technology development company that has been at the forefront of almost every technological advancement in the field of cinematography since 1972. Our development pedigree ranges from LearJet mounted aerial camera systems, to a line of robust robotic camera positioners, to a full suite of gyro-stabilized line-of-sight camera positioners. Our systems have been used on tens of thousands of motion pictures, commercials, and entertainment productions worldwide, and on every Olympics since 1994.

Engineering and Development:

N.S.I. is open to specialty engineering and development projects utilizing our propriety technology; N.S.I. has produced customized solutions for NASA, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the U.S. Department of Defense, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Airbus Industries, Canadian Defense Department,  Goodyear Airship Operations, Disney Imagineering, U.S. Navy and many others.

N.S.I. – Aerial Cinematography Systems

VectorVision :

Learjet based aerial cinematography systems in which periscopic camera ports in the top and bottom of fuselage, and the nose cone, capture images of real time flight. Used by the worlds leading cinematographers and NASA, Raytheon, Boeing, Airbus, Northrup and Lockheed to capture images of their test flights.

N.S.I.  -  Aerospace Sensor, Stabilized Test Rigs

Super-G / Stab-C :

Utilizing our open architecture 5 axis stabilized gimbals the worlds leading aerospace companies can test their “black-box sensor” packages in real world environments in the air, on the sea, or on land. JPL, Raytheon, NASA, and the D.O.D. have utilized our gimbals to complete their testing requirements for their specialty sensor packages.

N.S.I. – Stabilized Cinematography Systems

3 axis and 5 axis stabilized gimbals:

Utilized by every major Hollywood studio and on all the Olympics since 1994 our super-high bandwidth stabilized gimbals are the required tools for the leading cinematographers.  Many of our gimbals incorporate the required feature of being open architecture thus allowing different camera / lens packages to be exchanged quickly.
